MPLUSFPLUS is an ongoing visual dialogue between Márton Zalka and Francesco Dipierro.

Through the exchange of images from their personal phone archives, their work unfolds in an unpredictable, intimate and playful visual collection. Like a conversation, the photographs function as words – punctuated by moments of silence, association, and reflection – shaping an evolving and intuitive process. The sequential structure of the book (a-b-c) is disrupted by the non-linearity of the images and their dynamic interactions (a-c-e-b), allowing for creative encounters that generate unexpected yet strangely familiar narratives.

Encountering images is a form of creative collaboration. Images carry traces of other visual experiences—things we have seen, remembered, or imagined. Every picture becomes a micro-conversation in itself. Through both real and figurative exchanges, images are continually recontextualized, moving across different scenarios where they acquire new meanings and emotional resonances. These encounters form the ground of our phenomenology: a daily practice through which we explore non-linear ways of seeing, connecting, and understanding the world.
